What kind of payment methods do you use?

A.

We take cash, cheque, bacs and card payments.  Please note payment must be cleared before vehicle is collected/delivered.

When do I pay for my vehicle?

A.

It is up to you.  You can either pay at the time of placing the order or on delivery of the vehicle.

Will my vehicle be insured while it is being transported?

A.

Yes, we are fully insured to transport customers vehicles.

Is there any restriction to the size and type of vehicle that you can transport?

A.

We are able to cater for the transportation of all types of vehicles.  This includes heavy haulage eg diggers, lorries,tractors.  We can also transport trailers, buses, boats, campervans, caravans etc.

Can I meet your driver at the dock to collect my vehicle?

A.

No.  For health and safety reasons we will be unable to meet customers at the docks as the vehicle may not be easily accessed on the transporter and other vehicles may need to be removed to accommodate.

Will you deliver my vehicle to an address of my choice?

A.

All vehicles are taken back to our yard in Ballycastle for collection by the customer. However, if the customer wishes a vehicle to be delivered to another address, and we are able to accommodate, this will be at an additional cost.

When will I be able to collect my vehicle from your yard?

A.

Our yard is open Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 6.00pm. Vehicles can be collected within these times.

What information do you require when I place my order?

A.

We require your name and phone number. The make, model, registration number or chassis number, the name and full postal address of the collection point and contact number. We also need to know if the vehicle starts and drives or is a non-runner.

What is Gumtree?

A.

Gumtree (www.gumtree.com) is an on-line buy and sell site.  Some customers purchase vehicles from this site.

If I buy a vehicle from Gumtree or On-Line will you collect it?

A.

Yes.  All we need is the name and full postal address of the collection point and a contact number.

Is it only car auction sites that you collect vehicles from?

A.

No. We collect vehicles from private addresses, dealerships etc.

How soon will my vehicle be collected once I place an order?

A.

We aim to collect all vehicles within a week. However, there may be some occasions where collections may take slightly longer due to unforeseen circumstances.

Prices vary as it will depend on the size of the vehicle and where it is collected from and delivered to.

What are your opening times?

A.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00 pm.
Our yard hours are Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 6.00 pm.
